Help Yourself – Nutrition & Dietetics offers face-to-face and telehealth dietetic services in a number of  locations throughout the NSW Mid North Coast. Help Yourself – Nutrition & Dietetics was established in 1996 by Dr Kerith Duncanson and Rick Naylor, who have more than 60 years combined experience in the medical, health and fitness industries.

All of our Accredited Practising Dietitians are registered with Dietitians Australia.

Alex Marlow

Alex completed her Bachelor degree in Nutrition and Dietetics (Honours) at the University of Newcastle and is currently finishing her PhD in paediatric diabetes. Her passion for dietetics developed from her love of food, appreciation of science and desire to support people to achieve their nutrition and lifestyle goals. Alex takes on a holistic evidence-based approach to wellness and supports clients to achieve a healthy balance through empowering them with nutrition knowledge and practical skills. Alex has a broad interest in all areas of nutrition, with particular interests surrounding gut health, Irritable Bowel Syndrome and diabetes.

Alex services face-to-face clinics in Forster, Wingham and Taree on the NSW Mid North Coast.

Lani Black

Lani Black

Lani completed her Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of Newcastle and has a passion for sharing her knowledge and love of food. Through nutrition education, Lani supports clients in developing a healthy relationship with food to achieve their lifestyle goals. She takes a positive approach in providing practical advice about eating for good health. Lani enjoys all areas of nutrition, with particular interests surrounding intuitive eating, binge eating, prenatal nutrition, diabetes and cardiovascular health.

Dr Georgina Williams (PhD, APD)

Dr Georgina Williams

Georgina completed her Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics (Honours) at the University of Wollongong and recently completed a PhD around the role of dietary fibre and the gut microbiome. Follow Georgina’s research connections at ResearchGate.

Georgina also works as a research dietitian involved in studies addressing the role of diet and gastrointestinal microbiome in functional gastrointestinal disorders.

Along with her special interest in digestive health and gut conditions, Georgina supports clients to set and achieve their diet and lifestyle goals. Georgina services face-to-face clinics in Tea Gardens on the NSW Mid North Coast.
