We currently have long waiting lists for most of our in-person clinics and in some cases these appointments aren’t available for up to 16 weeks.

If you would like an earlier appointment, we suggest that you book in for a TELEHEALTH (phone or video) appointment to get started. You can then be scheduled for in-person appointments if required and available, or continue with the TELEHEALTH (phone or video) appointments.

If you have a valid and current referral from your GP (PAHS, Medicare or DVA) you will not be charged for your appointment. However, if you don’t have a referral, or if your referral has expired, then you will need to pay (fees) for your consultation with the dietitian. Referrals from your doctor can be faxed to 1300 654 885 or emailed to office@helpyourself.com.au.

Our dietitians provide in-person consultations at the following clinics on the NSW Mid-North Coast. They also deliver TELEHEALTH (phone or video) consultations if you cannot access an in-person appointment. Online bookings are available for these clinics.

Effective 1 July 2025, our dietetics business conducted from the NSW Mid-Coast region will be known as DIETITIANS MIDCOAST. Progressive updates to this website and to our contact details will be done in the weeks leading up to this change. You can access any of our dietitians (subject to their availability) for a VIDEO consultation. When you access our online booking system you will clearly see the days and times that our dietitians are specifically available for VIDEO appointments. These appointments are easier to access than in-person appointments at the moment.

In Forster, from 2 June 2025 we will be located at Forster Tuncurry Medical Centre – 12 South Street. Select this option if you are making an appointment for an in-person consultation with the dietitian. If you wish to make a TELEHEALTH appointment, please select either the telehealth (VIDEO) or telehealth (PHONE) options instead. Note that bookings for in-person appointments at Macintosh Medical are now closed.

In Gloucester, we are located at Gloucester Medical Centre – 7 Denison Street. Select this option if you are making an appointment for an in-person consultation with the dietitian. If you wish to make a TELEHEALTH appointment, please select either the telehealth (VIDEO) or telehealth (PHONE) options instead.

In Taree, we are located at Intalink Therapy Solutions – 5 Macquarie Street. Select this option if you are making an appointment for an in-person consultation with the dietitian. If you wish to make a TELEHEALTH appointment, please select either the telehealth (VIDEO) or telehealth (PHONE) options instead.

In Tea Gardens, we are located at Ochre Medical Centre – 8 Myall Quays Boulevard.  Select this option if you are making an appointment for an in-person consultation with the dietitian. If you wish to make a TELEHEALTH appointment, please select either the telehealth (VIDEO) or telehealth (PHONE) options instead.

In Wingham, we are located at Access Health Care – 101 Isabella Street. Select this option if you are making an appointment for an in-person consultation with the dietitian. If you wish to make a TELEHEALTH appointment, please select either the telehealth (VIDEO) or telehealth (PHONE) options instead.

How to cancel or reschedule your appointment

If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment you can do this by clicking the ‘appointment link’  in the confirmation email that you received. This will open the MANAGE YOUR APPOINTMENT web page (see below).

Select the ‘reschedule‘ option if you want to change your booking. When you choose a new appointment your previous appointment will be automatically cancelled.

Select the ‘cancel‘ option if you want to cancel your booking but not reschedule. Note that if you cancel your appointment first, you cannot reschedule – you’ll need to create a new booking completely.
